Job Title: Control System Engineer

Brain Technologies is an Italian engineering company that combines creativity and skills with advanced technologies to achieve challenging missions. We are actively involved in projects for national and international industrial entities in the fields of Embedded Systems, Advanced Control Systems, and Mechatronic Systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on the design of real-time control strategies for the Engine Control Module. This will involve defining component specifications to ensure correct interaction between sensors, actuators, and the ECU. Calibration and experimental activities on engine dynamometers and/or vehicles will be conducted to assess the performance of control functions and emission impacts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Definition of Engine Control System requirements, including functional, component, and interface requirements according to standards.
  • Document control requirements and test cases definition.
  • Development of calibration procedures.
  • Support to calibration and experimental activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Automatics, Electronic, Mechanics, Automotive, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of control theory.
  • Knowledge of engine control system development tools like Matlab, Simulink.
  • Basic knowledge on engine management system electrical architecture.
  • English knowledge, team working, and good communication skills.
