About the Role

New Balance is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Marketing Manager to drive our running program forward in the Italian region. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our running program alongside key trade partners and run clubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and activation of our global and regional running marketing strategy, aligning closely with the central EMEA team.
  • Develop and execute running toolkits that enable trade, events, and community to execute to the highest standards.
  • Build and develop our run club portfolio through engaging and maintaining run club relationships.
  • Support the planning and lead delivery of marketing activations in-line with key cultural moments and strategically important events.
  • Plan and execute the running calendar and oversee brand events in Italy.

Requirements for Success

  • 3-5 years of practical marketing experience, leading local marketing or trade marketing strategy and/or execution.
  • Passion and interest in running, with a deep understanding of the running market and running consumer in Italy.
  • Experience of agency management and content-led-channels across social, PR, influencer, and creative.
  • Knowledge of the Italian Wholesale Landscape in running footwear.
  • Marketing and/or Trade Marketing activations experience.
  • Experience in project management, including budget-management and reporting.
  • Great communication skills and working knowledge of English.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders within the Italy team and EMEA team.
