AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer to join our Environment Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise on large-scale environmental and civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise field activities, including surveys, tests, investigations, and remediation works;
- Monitor and sample environmental matrices, adhering to national and international recognized standards;
- Collect and process environmental data;
- Manage GIS data and prepare environmental technical reports;
- Apply and promote a high level of Health and Safety awareness and Quality management;
- 0-2 years' experience in a consulting company;
- Fluency in Italian and English;
- Demonstrable interest in environmental projects;
- Motivation, initiative, and organizational skills to work effectively in a busy multi-disciplinary environment;
- Flexibility to respond to changing project demands;
- Good communication skills, both verbally and digitally;
- Ability to maintain accurate records of site-based activities;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally for site visits;
- Strong personal initiative and goal-oriented;
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
- Licensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential);
