About the Team/Department:
In the role of Supply Planning Intern, you will support the management of finished goods inventory within the European region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Supply Planning Team in developing action plans to optimize inventory across various locations.
- Generate relevant inventory analyses and reports utilizing ERP and reporting tools.
- Monitor ERP systems and adjust market allocations as necessary, adhering to regional guidelines.
- Track inbound shipments from manufacturing and suppliers.
- Ensure product availability in European warehouses and facilitate weekly replenishment activities.
- Support global supply planning initiatives from a regional perspective.
- Initiate and promote improvements in ERP processes.
- Collaborate proactively with Customer Service and local supply chain teams.
- Participate in and organize regular operational reviews focusing on quality and enhancements.
- Conduct monthly KPI updates and root cause analyses on significant supply chain losses.
Qualifications:
- A University Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory) and Italian.
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills considered an advantage.
