Job Summary
TotalEnergies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial data, as well as providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise closely with operational departments to understand business activities and provide financial analysis to support management decisions.
- Support the Cost Control Coordinator in the preparation of annual budgets, periodic closing forecasts, and monthly accounting closures.
- Ensure the correct recording of provisions at each accounting closure to recognize operational activities in the accounts.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly cost analysis and reporting, and effectively communicate results to stakeholders.
- Work in liaison with the accounting team during month-end processes, planning, and execution of incurred costs and revenues.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to send to HQ.
- Ensure the proper management of cost accounting and allocation.
- Perform SOX controls related to cost control processes.
- Verify the correct allocation and availability of budget for invoices within the assigned perimeter.
