Design Technologist, Brand Innovation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Technologist to join our Advertising Design Technology team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the conception, prototyping, and execution of branded custom experiences across Amazon properties.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Development: Own the development process and deliverables from a design and technical perspective, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Campaign Strategy: Work closely with business teams to develop campaign strategy, use cases, and technical requirements, presenting work to peers, product teams, and executive leadership.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of web technologies, including Vanilla JS, NodeJS, React, Redux, SASS/CSS, and Responsive/Adaptive Design, with experience using AWS in production environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with program and product managers to identify and assess features for future product offerings, and participate in the full lifecycle of design and development, including ideation, prototyping, development, backwards compatibility, fail-overs, validation, and user testing.
- Experience: Considerable experience as a developer or technologist, with excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Technical Skills: Understanding and fluent usage across a broad spectrum of technologies, including Vanilla JS, NodeJS, React, Redux, SASS/CSS, and Responsive/Adaptive Design, with experience using AWS in production environments.
- Design Tools: Familiarity with design tools like Sketch and Figma, and experience using digital marketing, advertising, and metrics across the Entertainment market.
- Education: BS/MS in computer science, technology, design, or equivalent professional experience.
- AWS Stack: Familiarity with the AWS Stack and configuration, including S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Route 53, EC2, Bedrock, and ML.
- Digital Marketing: Familiarity with digital marketing, advertising, and metrics across the Entertainment market, and experience using creative ideation and brainstorming sessions with internal and external partners.
- Front-End Development: Familiarity with front-end development, including Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Alexa, Voice Design, WebGL, and creative frontend.
