About the Role:
As a Creative Technologist within Amazon's Brand Innovation Lab, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advertising design technology. This team is dedicated to custom development and prototyping for advertisers and agencies, focusing on the creation, testing, and implementation of unique branded experiences across various Amazon platforms.

Your Responsibilities:
In this dual role, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. Your contributions will include:
  • Defining innovative advertising products and developing pre-sales prototypes.
  • Executing custom campaigns while collaborating closely with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Account teams.
  • Owning the entire development process from both design and technical perspectives.
  • Working with business teams to craft campaign strategies, use cases, and technical specifications.
  • Presenting your work to peers, product teams, and senior leadership.
  • Creating high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Partnering with program and product managers to identify and evaluate features for future offerings.

Key Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • Proven experience in web development across various devices and browsers.
  • A talent for simplifying complex challenges into intuitive and elegant user experiences.
  • The ability to deliver functional prototypes for new devices.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in the full lifecycle of design and development, including ideation, prototyping, and user testing.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Significant experience as a developer or technologist.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including Vanilla JS, NodeJS, React, Redux, SASS/CSS, and Responsive Design.
  • Experience with AWS in production settings.
  • Understanding of performance optimization and latency mitigation.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch and Figma.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the AWS Stack, including S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Experience in digital marketing and advertising metrics.
  • Participation in creative brainstorming sessions with internal and external partners.
  • Familiarity with Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Voice Design.
  • A degree in computer science, technology, design, or equivalent professional experience.
