Robotics Software Architect

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Software Architect to join our team at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing novel algorithms for intelligent and adaptive control of collaborative robots in response to human dynamic states.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotics software architecture
- Contribute to lab projects and support general activities of the lab
Requirements
- MSc degree with a strong background in one or multiple of the following topics: collaborative robot planning and control, physical human-robot interaction, and human/humanoids modeling
- Strong skills on C++ and Python
- Experience with ROS
- Knowledge of Linux OS and the related programming environments
- Confidence with version control tools (specifically git)
- Good command in spoken and written English
Working Environment
The successful candidate will join a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, working on a project that focuses on the development and implementation of novel algorithms for intelligent and adaptive control of collaborative robots in response to human dynamic states.
