Job Title: Merchandise Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planner to join our team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of our Southern European Sales Region, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and forecasting processes for our brand business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with product merchandisers to analyze collection performance and provide input on collection evolution and in-season actions.
  • Coordinate with the Product Merchandiser to ensure efficient movement of stock between stores and optimize sell-through.
  • Work closely with the subregional allocator to guarantee correct coverage and maximize sales and stock turnover in our Retail Channel.
Collection Performance and Stock Control:
  • Provide sell-in and sell-out data on ongoing and past seasons.
  • Cooperate with the South Merchandiser in forecasting and buying activities for both Channel Wholesale and Retail.
  • Provide market reports, including feedback on SKU performance, size splits, and current store grading to optimize cross-docks to stores.
Allocation:
  • Coordinate returns by the end of the season to the South warehouse and stock movements to the outlet.
  • Analyze sold products and stock levels in all stores.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Media Management or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint mandatory).
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles and concepts.
  • Ability to implement the latest technologies and innovations within marketing.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience within a Merchandising role (preferably in an international retail organization).
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Languages:
  • English (mandatory): fluent written and spoken.
  • Italian (mandatory): fluent written and spoken (near native).
  • French (preferred): advanced written and spoken.
  • Spanish (preferred): basic written and spoken.
