Marketing and Communication Director

Join Cartier as a Marketing and Communication Director and take on a challenging role that requires strategic thinking, creativity, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement local marketing and communication strategies that align with international guidelines and adapt to local context and challenges.
  • Lead and manage the marketing, communication, and merchandising teams, designing the optimal organization, recruiting the right profiles, evaluating and compensating performance, and developing potentials to federate and retain them.
  • Manage marketing and communication budgets, optimizing distribution and producing regular reports for management decision-making, providing specific recommendations, and regular updates on competitor benchmarking.
  • Accountable for local product strategy and business results per product and network, defining launch packs and specific local actions to support sales staff and develop turnover.
  • Implement the Maison image and guidelines through media plan definition and press/PR and Events, interacting with Richemont media agency and ensuring good relationships with the agency and local journalists, responsible for the ROI on communication tools through performance monitoring tools and competitors' analysis.
  • Secure optimized stock levels for retail and wholesale through merchandising-related activities in collaboration with Operations team, respecting stock budget and responsible for the return on investment.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience of working at a senior level in marketing and communication.
  • Experience in a luxury environment and luxury standards/clients.
  • Networker with strong connections within the Italian marketing, comm, and media scene.
  • Strategic thinker, able to propose ideas in line with the Maison dna, yet innovative and inspiring.
  • Patient negotiator, with senior and internal stakeholders as well as more junior colleagues or external partners.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Creative thinker with a proven track record in delivering 'on time and on budget.'
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experienced people manager, inspiring leader, understanding mentor, motivating and challenging guide.
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail.
