Job Summary

Hitachi Zosen Inova AG is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join its team. As a key member of the acquisition project team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new plant layouts, preparing and updating spreadsheets, and ensuring the executive and detailed design of plants meets contractual specifications and company directives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the acquisition project team as design manager
  • Implement new plant layouts according to company directives
  • Prepare and update spreadsheets for design and calculations
  • Ensure the executive and detailed design of plants meets contractual specifications and company directives
  • Define purchase specifications for plant components according to company standards
  • Collect and verify conformity certificates for materials, installations, and components
  • Draft the plant use and maintenance manual

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or master's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable function in the energy, environmental technology, or renewable energy industry
  • Experience working in inter-disciplinary project teams
  • Experience with engineering details, including mechanical layouts, fluid dynamics, materials, piping, and sensors
  • Good user knowledge of engineering tools, such as P&IDs, AutoCad, Revit/Inventor, and MS Office
  • Proficiency in Italian, English, and possibly German or French
  • Reliability and accountability
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to consider complex multidisciplinary aspects of problems
  • Competence and ability to take decisions within the frame defined by company processes
