Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer Incineration and Gasification Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering & Construction unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, particularly in the Waste to Energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the owner of engineering matters for WTe plant projects, collaborating with the EPC contractor and back-office engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project progress.
- Interface with EPC site managers to clarify and discuss design-related subjects during erection activities.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss and propose best technical solutions.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance on a day-to-day basis, adhering to project guidelines and protocols.
- Organize meetings and calls with specialists as needed, in coordination with the Construction Director and in accordance with project guidelines.
- Maintain communication with local partners to obtain approval for engineering work, adhering to permit and normative requirements.
Requirements
- Process engineer incineration and/or gasification background, with experience in Waste to Energy projects highly valued.
- Education in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in process engineering roles.
- Fluent Italian, English, and French language skills, with good proficiency in French appreciated.
- Basic knowledge of process engineering applied to incineration or gasification waste lines.
- Basic knowledge of environmental impact assessment, with a focus on GHG emission assessment.
- Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
