The Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women's Leadership at Villanova University is seeking a Student Communications Assistant to support its multiple communication initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies and content creation for the Institute's social media and marketing efforts, as well as for The Women's Leadership Diaries platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating an annual marketing calendar highlighting national and international celebration days and key dates related to women's history and gender equity.
  • Researching and generating fact sheets related to women's advancement and gender equity.
  • Designing templates for social media use.
  • Supporting cross-campus partnerships through marketing initiatives.
  • General website updates.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates will have experience in multimedia communications and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidates must be able to take initiative and multi-task and exhibit mature decision-making capabilities.
  • Additionally, proven experience in creativity and innovation that will further the growth of the McNulty Institute's communication initiatives is preferred.
