Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Material Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our project core team, you will be responsible for coordinating and securing QCD commitments within the Material Scope (Metier) in Project Execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and consolidate QCD commitments with project stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
  • Manage industrial scope assigned by the DIS project, ensuring that products are delivered according to project QCD commitments.
  • Represent the Industrial Operations organization within the project core team, working closely with Procurement and Supply Chain functions.
  • Develop and implement industrial schemes and make-or-buy strategies to optimize material procurement and production.
  • Coordinate and supervise industrial operations, including material procurement, products manufacturing and testing, logistics and shipment.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow curves related to material orders, minimizing inventory levels and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
  • Support project closure, ensuring that all material-related tasks are completed and inventory is cleaned and closed.
Requirements
  • Degree in Management Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project or industrial management roles.
  • Consolidated knowledge and experience in Industrial Operations.
  • Professional knowledge of English.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Good knowledge of office automation software (Excel, Outlook).
