Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Design Team Lead to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our Commercial Interior Design team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the team to create innovative and effective store layouts, range presentations, and store communications that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Commercial Interior Design team to achieve business objectives and improve customer experience
  • Partner with the Commercial Manager to stimulate interest in home furnishing and drive business growth
  • Secure vitality and seasonality in the store through effective store commercial calendar management
  • Stay up-to-date with retailing, home furnishing, and trends to support the development of creative directions and workshops
  • Lead the store ComIn team in securing relevant and inspiring range presentation solutions, optimal store layouts, and effective store communications

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in design-oriented roles, such as interior design, graphic design, visual merchandising, and/or store planning
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop people and creative processes in a changing environment
  • Strong customer-focused mindset, clear communication, and coaching skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work and the work of others to achieve business objectives
  • Problem-solving attitude, analytical, and strategic skills

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day

As a Commercial Interior Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the store ComIn team to use knowledge of IKEA home furnishing and people's life at home to grow the business. You will partner with the Commercial Manager to stimulate and increase interest in home furnishing for all co-workers in the store. You will also secure vitality and seasonality in the store by creating and implementing a store commercial calendar together with the store management team.
