About the Position

This role serves as a key contributor to the Communications Department, focusing on event management and communication. The primary function is to manage Werfen's participation in scientific congresses, generating awareness for the company and its products, boosting sales, and increasing brand positioning.

The position is responsible for ensuring correct brand exposure during events, in accordance with Werfen's Brand & Visual Identity Guidelines. Key responsibilities include managing contract terms, handling logistics, budgeting, negotiating with sub-contractors, selecting venues, developing event materials, and editing communication to clients.

The position also supports EEMEA Distributors in ensuring correct brand positioning and organizes EEMEA main events with partners and clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supports brand and institutional communication activities (internal and external) according to the Communication Manager's needs.
  • Manages company events and company participation in third-party congresses in compliance with ECM regulation and in accordance with the Transparency Law obligations.
  • Negotiates with event providers to secure the best positioning and brand exposure within allocated budgets.
  • Manages external agencies/suppliers to develop event materials, gadgets, and trade show booth layouts/structures according to Brand & Visual Identity Guidelines.
  • Edits direct mailing content and develops social media content for EEMEA.
  • Manages Educational Grants, providing information to external providers.
  • Supports the organization of company main direct events, managing speakers and attendees' engagement and hospitality according to existing procedures.
  • Updates company tools/platforms (Italy and EEMEA) relating to events, including BrightCove, Transparency Tool, SharePoint Event Calendar, and Good Morning EEMEA.
  • Administers the processing of invoices.
  • Supports cross-functional projects according to area of competence.
  • Ensures compliance with Werfen's Code of Ethics and CDM rules.

  • Internal: Marketing (Italy and EEMEA), Sales (Italy and EEMEA), Administration, Warehouse, General Services, Compliance, Human Resources, Board Management, DPO.
  • External: Suppliers, Scientific Providers, Global Communications (Spain & US), EEMEA Distributors.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business communications, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business communications.
