Cost Management Expert for Data Centers

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group.

Role Overview:

The Senior Cost Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the entire cost management process, from initial budget development to final project closeout. This involves collaborating closely with project teams to accurately estimate costs, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Budgets: Create comprehensive budgets that align with project goals and objectives.
  • Cost Estimation: Conduct thorough cost analyses and estimate costs accurately, taking into account various factors such as material costs, labor costs, and equipment costs.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve cost efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related subjects
  • Experience: Solid experience in cost management within the construction industry, preferably with Data Center projects or industrial projects
  • Skills: Proficiency in budget development, cost estimation, and financial analysis; Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Italian

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
