About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team at Swisslog in Maranello, Italy.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide world-class support to our customers, including troubleshooting, investigations, enhancements, and optimizations of our industrial automation systems.
  • Rotational out-of-hours second-line support is also part of the job to ensure our customers have continuous production 24/7.
  • You will manage periodical site visits, contracts, software, and documentation for your assigned customers.
  • You will assist in projects and contribute your expertise, helping with programming, testing, and commissioning of PLC/HMI systems.
  • Some work will be located at our customer sites within the Italian and EMEA region, requiring occasional travel.

Requirements

  • Academic diploma and/or practical experience in electrical/control engineering.
  • Industrial experience with knowledge of Siemens S7/TIA and/or Beckhoff Twincat.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors delivering electrical installations and control systems.
  • It is meritorious to have experience in Intralogistics and industrial warehouse systems such as Conveyors, cranes, etc.
  • Fluency in Italian and English at level B2 or above.
