Job Title: System Administrator for User Ground Segment

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team at Telespazio, a joint venture between Leonardo and Thales. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the technical supervision of mission systems, including hardware and software components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze technical anomalies in mission systems
  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Define and maintain workarounds and troubleshooting procedures
  • Administer the User Ground Segment internal network and front-end network
  • Install and configure hardware components

Requirements:

  • Engineering or technical discipline degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT/ground segment technologies
  • Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • English language proficiency

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of networking, network protocols, and related issues
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, Bash script, Javascript)
  • Basic knowledge of ICT security elements

Working Environment:

As a System Administrator at Telespazio, you will work in an integrated team following a 7/7 work shift. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative company that offers a complete range of space services.
