About the Job

The Travel Retail Education Specialist, reporting to the EMEA Education Manager, will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a structured training and development program to meet the needs of the travel retail channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the full execution of the Regional/Channel training strategy across EMEA travel retail perimeter.
  • Design a structured training and development program (in-store/remotely) for each Beauty Consultant cluster/airport/retailer.
  • Ensure special training programs are designed to support specific trade activities.
  • Design and organize the Annual Beauty Consultant seminar event.
  • Work closely with Global Education and EMEA Travel Retail Teams to learn, adapt, and facilitate Training Modules created by Central, which support business objectives.
  • Support the development of customer-centric attitudes and behaviors through daily on-the-floor observation and coaching.
  • Ensure timely and detailed feedback to the regional education team and Travel Retail team related to all learning modules, with qualitative insights on facilitation.
  • Support store-specific initiatives and pilots as needed.
  • Organize administrative responsibilities and ensure budget guidelines are met.
  • Track and measure main KPIs.

Key Competencies

  • Experience required: 3 years of experience in a high-end, luxury beauty environment.
  • Previous on-field experience as a Beauty Consultant will be considered a plus during the recruiting process.
  • Bachelor's/University Degree.
  • Availability to travel across EMEA airports (50/50 time split).
  • Excellent listening and observation skills.
  • Proven track record in building client relationships.
  • Passion for elevated service and the client experience.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience level and size.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Computer skills (PowerPoint, MS Office).
  • Ability to deal with different levels of the organization comfortably.
  • Excellent organizational skills; effective time-management skills.
  • Ability to bring concepts to reality.
  • High sense of luxury, luxury customer service.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; second foreign language as nice-to-have.
