Job Title: Research Associate

Research Focus:

Our team at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to contribute to our research project on forest vulnerability to climate change. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop and implement research strategies, collect and analyze data, and collaborate with stakeholders to advance our understanding of climate-smart forestry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on forest ecology and silviculture, with a focus on climate change impacts and adaptation strategies
  • Develop and implement research plans, protocols, and data collection methods
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze data, draw conclusions, and communicate findings
  • Participate in stakeholder engagement and outreach activities to promote research results and inform policy decisions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., forestry, ecology, environmental science)
