Guests can stroll through the city's largest private garden or retire to their suite, where frescoes line the walls amidst original architectural features. Our hotel is just steps away from the cultural heart of Florence, making it the perfect destination for those seeking a luxurious and culturally rich experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Commis de Partie to join our Kitchen Team, responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items according to guest orders and production requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent knife skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to guest orders and production requirements, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
  • Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, ensuring that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
  • Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems and control food waste, loss, and usage per policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum culinary experience is expected.
  • Proficient knife skills and ability to multitask are required.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the Italian language is required. English is a plus.
