Job Title: Field Service Specialist

Our client, a leading multinational company in the industrial sector, is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist to join their team. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing on-site support for the company's product range, including calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of materials testing systems in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site support for the product range, including calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of materials testing systems in Italy.
  • Proactively look for leads for new tools/machines, accessories, and other services.
  • Be familiar with the company's product life cycle to advise customers on obsolescence.
  • Report on competitive equipment and activities at customer sites.
  • Ensure adequate preparation and planning before each visit to complete the job correctly without further follow-up visits.
  • Deliver basic software training to customers when required.
  • Responsible for the quality of own work and ensure all administration is accurate and up to date, using the tools provided.
  • Submit expenses and other paperwork within the required timeframe.
  • Contribute to the company's efforts to improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and improve quality and other processes as required.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as may be requested.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma in a relevant technical discipline: mechatronics, mechanics, electrical, electronic engineering, or equivalent.
  • Troubleshooting experience with electromechanical/electronic systems.
  • Solid experience in the same role.
  • Basic awareness of costs and own impact on margin.
  • Well-organized with good time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, resilient, open-minded.
  • Team player and strong customer-oriented.
  • Good English both oral and written.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
