Job Description:
  • Provide on-site support for various products, including calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of materials testing systems in Italy.
  • Proactively identify new tools, machines, accessories, and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the company's product life cycle to provide informed advice to customers regarding obsolescence.
  • Report on competitive equipment and activities at customer sites.
  • Ensure thorough preparation and planning before each visit to ensure efficient job completion.
  • Optimize travel plans for cost-effectiveness.
  • Deliver basic software training to customers as needed.
  • Maintain high-quality work and accurate administration, adhering to the latest company requirements.
  • Submit expenses and paperwork within the required timeframe.
  • Contribute to improving customer satisfaction, reducing costs, and enhancing quality processes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant technical discipline: mechatronics, mechanics, electrical, electronic engineering or equivalent.
  • Troubleshooting experience with electromechanical/electronic systems.
  • Solid experience in a similar role.
  • Basic awareness of costs and own impact on margin.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, resilience, and open-mindedness.
  • Team player with excellent customer orientation.
  • Good written and verbal English language skills.
  • Willingsness to travel frequently.
