**Job Summary**

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Aman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are immaculate, and providing exceptional service to our discerning guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the Housekeeping Manager in supervising the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Project a positive hotel image and promote the Aman culture within the department.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and implement schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Attend daily morning briefings with management and conduct daily briefings with housekeeping staff on all shifts.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest history and input data into the computer system.
  • Ensure that all guest requests are answered promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and restaurant to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Supervise the minibar operation and ensure that all equipment and supplies are maintained in good working order.
  • Monitor and address guest comments and concerns related to the housekeeping operation.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping and Engineering Managers to establish a comprehensive maintenance program and ensure swift follow-up on any issues.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, service, and control of all housekeeping equipment, linen, and supplies.
  • Maintain par stocks for all housekeeping supplies and place orders in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Manager and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in developing the annual housekeeping budget.
  • Responsible for the proper laundering of all linen and developing good rapport with outside laundry vendors.
  • Maintain a clean and neat area of operation and adhere to high personal grooming standards.

**Requirements**

  • Knowledge of cleaning cart and supplies, washer/dryer, cleaning chemicals, and all other cleaning equipment and materials as necessary.
  • Must have knowledge of cleaning products and procedures.
  • Must have experience with cleaning procedures and equipment.
  • Should be capable of evaluating new supplies and equipment under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Experience in training new staff members and the ability to delegate work assignments.
  • Must be able to deal effectively and calmly with difficult situations, work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including PMS (partially, HK related) and Microsoft applications.
  • Good knowledge of languages Italian and English.
