Job Summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer Lombardia to provide technical support and service for our advanced staining equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our instruments, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for advanced staining instruments.
  • Effectively communicate with internal colleagues and external customers to meet customer expectations.
  • Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the on-time application of technical service bulletins and updates to instruments in the field.
  • Support the sale of service contracts and assist sales representatives with system configurations and upgrades.
  • Broaden knowledge and experience to improve product, application, and professional development skills.
  • Maintain spare parts stock within budgetary limits to maximize repair metrics.
  • Control expenses to maximize profit contribution to the company.
Qualifications
  • Technical High School Diploma (Mechanic, Electric, Electronic...)
  • At least 4 years of experience as a FSE in the Biomedical industry, dealing with Hospital equipment (diagnostic laboratories)
  • Experience in Anatomy Pathology will be a plus
  • Good English (both written and spoken)
  • Good IT skills (Advanced Staining equipment runs with computers and is connected to networks)
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player but able to work also autonomously
  • Works with integrity and understands compliance requirements
