Job Title: Fishmonger Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fishmonger Assistant in our Altavilla Vicentina store.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the fish department, including receiving and inspecting merchandise, preparing products for display, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect fish and seafood shipments
  • Prepare products for display, including filleting and cleaning fish
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
