As a key member of our team at Arcadis, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Change, Risk & Document Controller Consultant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding project changes and related control and management procedures with our clients, in conjunction with the Project Manager. This will involve ensuring the commercial completion of change order forms, measuring and valuing all changes, and advising clients of changes costs prior to implementation.

The role will also require the successful candidate to assure that cost changes are agreed in a timely manner, and to assemble the appropriate documentation for each change item to agree with the employer and contractor on a monthly basis.

The ideal candidate will have around 2-4 years of previous working experience as a Contract Administrator, Risk & Change Specialist or similar roles, and a BSc or MSc degree in Architecture, Engineering or equivalent. They will also have knowledge of contracts and project management, as well as standard engineering and construction practices, techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change and Risk Management activities
  • Work alongside with team lead contract administrator and client to manage project changes
  • Overview and manage the General/Main Contractor and vendors changes from inception through to the final payments
  • Draft and discuss commercial agreements of all change orders as per change management process
  • Evaluate, highlight, and communicate project risks
  • Document management: Implement and manage overall document control system (procedures, workflows, guidelines)
  • Implement a centralized document repository and filing system
