Product Safety Engineer (m/f/d) Job Description

CSA Group is seeking a highly skilled Product Safety Engineer (m/f/d) to join its hazardous location (HAZLOC)/explosion protection team. As a key member of this team, you will provide high-quality certification services and interpret standards to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage certification projects concurrently, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
  • Review test data, reports, and authorize the issuance of Certification Marks.
  • Liaise with customers in the design stage to ensure requirements of national/international standards are met.
  • Determine applicable requirements, test, and standards.
  • Prepare Test Lab Work Orders and Special Testing Documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • Experience in circuit analysis and IEC/EN is a plus.
  • Experience in Product Certification, Product Compliance, Product Approval, manufacturing.

  • Communicate effectively with Clients and peers.
  • Project Management skills are beneficial.
  • German and English skills (business fluent).
