Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The Hoxton in Florence. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere for our guests, ensuring the restaurant and bar areas are H&S compliant, and running the daily briefing for the restaurant and bar team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for guests
  • Ensure restaurant and bar areas are H&S compliant
  • Run daily briefing for restaurant and bar team
  • Coordinate and run reservations system
  • Draft floor plan based on covers
  • Support with F&B stock, ordering, and stock counts
  • Support with training for F&B team
  • Labour scheduling
  • Cash handling and daily reporting of revenues
  • Responsible for service on the floor and bar
  • Responsible for safe opening and closing of the restaurant
  • Work with culinary team on menus, service, and product availability
Requirements:
  • Previous work experience as floor manager or supervisor in a busy and high-volume restaurant
  • Natural leader with ability to manage others
  • Attention to detail
  • Passion for hospitality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
