Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The Hoxton in Florence. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and bar, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of hospitality professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for our guests
  • Ensure the restaurant and bar areas are safe and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Run daily briefings for the restaurant and bar team
  • Coordinate and manage the reservations system
  • Draft floor plans based on expected covers
  • Support with food and beverage stock management, ordering, and stock counts
  • Support with training for the food and beverage team
  • Labour scheduling and cash handling
  • Responsible for the service on the floor and bar
  • Responsible for the safe opening and closing of the restaurant
  • Work with the culinary team on menus, service, and product availability
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a floor manager or supervisor in a busy and high-volume restaurant
  • Natural leadership skills, leading by example and creating an environment where team members can thrive
  • Attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
