Safety and Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Health Professional to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel AS. As a key member of our Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE) Function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and Coordinate Functional Strategies: Develop and implement functional strategies and standards within the given area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Coordinate Health and Safety Reporting: Coordinate and handle health and safety reporting, monitoring safety key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis in cooperation with the National QSHE Manager/RSPP and National QSHE Health & Safety Manager.
- Conduct Regular Site Inspections: Carry out regular site inspections to check and ensure that company safety and health policies and procedures are properly implemented and applied.
- Address Safety and Health Matters: Address responsibilities for safety and health matters within the business unit and the given area, to prevent risks and incidents.
- Handle Health and Safety Risk Assessment: Handle health and safety risk assessment (identification, evaluation, definition of measures to be adopted) to mitigate potential hazards.
- Initiate Gap Analysis and Process Improvements: Initiate gap analysis, develop, improve, and validate QSHE process improvements, corrective action, and training material.
- Organize and Control Additional Safety Checks: Organize and control additional required safety and health checks according to national laws, focusing on Italian Legislative Decree n.81/2008.
- Issue Safety Working Instructions and Training: Issue safety working instructions, roll-out, and conduct of annual health and safety QSHE-related training plan for respective Contract Logistics sites in cooperation with the National QSHE Team.
- Qualified Safety and Health Trainer: Qualified safety and health trainer according to art. 37 D.lgs 81/08.
- English and Italian Advanced: English and Italian advanced language skills.
