About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Technician to join our team in Italy.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees, and we need a dedicated professional to help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on health and safety procedures and regulations
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop action plans to prevent future occurrences
  • Collaborate with the site Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with Amazon's safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualification (or equivalent) in a safety-related field
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASPP and professional trainer qualifications
  • Lean, 5S, and Kaizen certifications
  • Experience with Gensuite as an EHS application tool
  • Fluency in English and Italian
