About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Health Specialist to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel AS. As a key member of our Quality, Safety, Health & Environment Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement functional strategies and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate and monitor health and safety reporting, including monthly safety KPIs, in collaboration with the National QSHE Manager/RSPP and National QSHE Health & Safety Manager.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the proper implementation and application of company safety and health policies and procedures.
  • Address safety and health matters within the Business Unit and the given area to prevent risks and incidents.
  • Perform health and safety risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop, improve, and validate QSHE process improvements, CAPA, and training material.
  • Organize and control additional required safety and health checks according to national laws, focusing on Italian Legislative Decree n.81/2008.
  • Issue safety working instructions and conduct annual health and safety QSHE-related training plans for Contract Logistics sites in cooperation with the National QSHE Team.
Requirements
  • Qualified safety and health trainer according to art. 37 D.lgs 81/08.
  • Qualified safety and health working equipment trainer according to art. 73 D.lgs 81/08 (preferred).
  • Advanced English and Italian language skills.
