About the JobWe are seeking a Conformity of Production Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of QA Assembly. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing CoP tests, ensuring compliance with internal test instructions and planning in accordance with legal requirements for vehicles in production.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the CoP Project Leader and Homologation department to establish the yearly control plan.
- Develop and implement a detailed yearly control plan in compliance with CoP requirements.
- Plan and request vehicle and component availability for CoP tests.
- Arrange vehicle and component shipment for CoP scope.
- Perform or request tests according to regulations.
- Monitor internal and external test results, checking and storing them.
- In case of non-conformities, initiate the escalation process and verify implementation of corrective actions and related documents.
- Prepare annual reports on Conformity of Production and coordinate with involved departments.
- Ensure fulfillment of requirements for external audits.
- Support departments in organizing Conformity of Production external audits.
- Act as interface with VW Audi Group and external auditors for CoP issues.
- Support the CoP Project Leader in creating Test Instructions and reports.
- Plan yearly budget for tests, request offers, and monitor the budget.
- Organize and ensure fulfillment of homologation requirements in series production.
- Mechanical Engineering or similar degree.
- Experience in Automotive in homologation, conformity of production tests, or technical areas.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical reporting, requirements, components, and tools.
- Experience in working and dealing with cross-functional departments.
- English knowledge, German considered a plus.
