Job Summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of rail solutions across rolling stock, signaling, and operation services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project teams, allocate responsibilities, and deliverables in accordance with company processes and project scope.
  • Define and gain approval for business requirements, process modeling deliverables, project plans, and charters.
  • Manage client relationships, technical, and administrative project issues.
  • Review and estimate project cost, including spare parts, labor, and third-party services.
  • Control and manage project P&L in terms of budget costs, revenues, margin, and invoices.
  • Support commercial and procurement departments in assessing and delivering new commercial initiatives and variation orders.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in project management in a medium to complex multinational organization.
  • Proven experience in project management environment with managerial role.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong client relationship attitude and skill set.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in travels within the country.
  • Understanding and compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) programs and procedures.

Education and Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Technical matters.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP or IPMA) certification is a plus.

Language Skills

  • Good knowledge and ability in understanding, writing, and speaking English language.
  • Other languages will be an important plus.
