Job Overview

Molex-Flamar seeks a skilled Account Manager to manage existing clients and acquire new ones, focusing on Europe and global reach in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing clients and acquire new ones in Europe, primarily Italy, and collaborate with account management teams for global clients.
  • Increase profitable revenue, market share, and develop new customers in the target market segments of Material Handling, Automotive, and Food & Beverage.
  • Identify, seek, and secure new opportunities for Flamar raw cable and Molex products and value-added solutions primarily with Harness Makers, Machine Builders, System Integrators, and associated subcontractors in Europe.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to offer products and value-add solutions in customer applications and project opportunities.
  • Support Business Development Managers in bringing the voice of the customer to the business unit.
  • Identify market and specific customer needs regarding technology trends to assist in the development of new products and product extensions.
  • Responsible for interacting with Product Management and Operations in solving product quality and delivery issues.
  • Follow-up on all sales leads within the territory for both direct and distribution sales, as well as maintaining the opportunity pipeline.
  • Close and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Services, Product Management, Business Development, and Industry Marketing Managers.

Requirements

  • Experience as Technical Sales Engineer in the Industrial Automation market, along with an extensive cable, connector, interconnect product knowledge, on-machine Sensor and Actuator architecture, and a wide market knowledge.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Business-fluent Italian and English skills.
