Job Title: Database Engineer

Trigyn Technologies is seeking a skilled Database Engineer to join our team in Brindisi, Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing our global OpenStreetMap (OSM) database replica based on PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize the performance of databases and queries.
  • Monitor daily updates of the in-house replica through regular diffs.
  • Design and implement data replication and synchronization mechanisms.
  • Manage geodata using open-source geospatial routines.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL and PostGIS database administration.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Linux Shell Scripting, and Python.
  • Desirable: expertise on OSM data model, geospatial data, and GIS software.
