Job Summary
U.S. Army Europe And Africa is seeking a skilled Heavy Mobile Equipment Repairer to join our team. As a Heavy Mobile Equipment Repairer, you will be responsible for performing repairs on heavy mobile equipment, including removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components. You will also assist higher-level mechanics in disassembling, repairing, and assembling major systems, components, and operating mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on heavy mobile equipment, including removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components.
- Assist higher-level mechanics in disassembling, repairing, and assembling major systems, components, and operating mechanisms.
- Replace seals and shaft sealing rings, horns, wiring harnesses, starting switches, sensors, fuel pumps, water pumps; adjust voltage and current control units, engine idle, brakes and transmission linkages; clean or replace filters, battery cables, engine components and injector nozzles.
- Assist in the complete overhaul and repair of major systems, such as engines, transmissions, drivelines and hydraulic systems.

Requirements
- Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision.
- Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, repair, etc.
- Use of measuring instruments.
- Technical practices.
- Ability to use hand and maintain tools and equipment.
- Troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret instructions specifications.

How You Will Be Evaluated
In order to qualify for this position, your application must provide sufficient experience to meet the requirements of the position. You will be rated based on the experience described on your application form and the required certification that is submitted.

What to Expect
- A valid Italian driver's license type "B" is required.
- The incumbent must be able to maintain a valid Italian driver's license type "B".

Working Conditions
The incumbent will work in a controlled humidity warehouse and outside in accordance with technical manuals and Mil Std. The incumbent will also perform cyclic maintenance and exercises as required.
