Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for product design, simulation, and manufacturing across various industries, from Formula 1 cars to skyscrapers, ships, and space exploration vehicles. We use our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to conceive and manufacture numerous products in our daily lives.

Our team is seeking a dedicated Digital Transformation Consultant to join our team in Italy and develop customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the sales process to facilitate sales of solutions by engaging with customers and prospects to gather high-level business and technical requirements to determine customer needs.
  2. Capture customer needs and translate them into compelling product demonstrations that show the value of the Siemens Digital Industries Software portfolio, focusing on a specific solution.
  3. Provide technical and industry expertise required to support sales engagements at customers in multiple industries.
  4. Create and deliver powerful and compelling product demonstrations for the product range.
  5. Work closely with the Sales and Portfolio Development team to identify customer needs.
  6. Be a trusted advisor on our customers' business issues and how Siemens Digital Industries Software can improve their business.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in a customer-facing role or business development function in a software company.
  2. Able to understand, position, and present the value of end-to-end digital transformation in the context of an industry.
  3. Comfortable in delivering technical presentations, including video snippets of software demonstrations.
  4. A good communicator with brilliant presentation skills.
  5. Leadership and project management skills to define and track structured work plans.
  6. Italian native speaker, advanced English.
  7. Willing to travel.

Nice to have – familiar or with experience in PLM.
