Formulation Specialist

Job Title: Formulation Specialist - Pharmaceutical Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Specialist to join our Pharmaceutical Development team at Grünenthal GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing Pharmaceutical Development trials, supporting the Manufacturing department, and contributing to the resolution of technology-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Pharmaceutical Development trials within the Pharma Technology department
• Support the Manufacturing department in the execution of demo and validation batches
• Contribute to the resolution of technology-related issues and to the continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing department
• Collect and elaborate data by using statistical tools
• Issue and update department SOPs, create batch records for trials and Technology Transfers
• Manage the Pharma Technology laboratory and raw materials stock of the department
• Apply safety and GMP norms and regulations

Requirements:

• University degree in a Scientific domain (e.g. Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or similar)
• At least 1 or 2 years of experience within the Technology Transfer function of a multinational pharmaceutical company
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), previous experience with SAP and/or an ERP system software represents a plus
• Basic knowledge of statistical tools
• Strong communication skills, high analytical skills, and an excellent team working approach
• Proactive and entrepreneurial attitude
• Knowledge of GMP is considered a plus
