Main Responsibilities:

As a member of the R&D Country Team, the Senior R&D Manager Bakery works closely with the R&D Country Manager and Sales & Marketing team to offer the best technical support to customers, developing and adapting Bakery products according to their needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Product development and innovation in the Bakery domain
  • Scouting new ingredients and technologies for Bakery products
  • Customer technical support and R&D SBU Bakery team coaching and development
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and promoting co-creation approach

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Defining and implementing R&D Bakery channel strategy and technical support plan
  • Managing and guiding the local R&D SBU Bakery team to develop each team member and achieve defined objectives
  • Ensuring effective collaboration between the R&D SBU Bakery team and all other company functions, including Operations & QA

Requirements:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in R&D roles, in food companies with local production
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, ability to define and implement an R&D Bakery strategy based on business priorities/goals
  • Ability to interact with all levels and functions within an organization

About the Role:

The Senior R&D Manager Bakery will be responsible for leading Bakery product and technology innovation, promoting and implementing local innovations, and developing, adapting, and improving Bakery products.
