BCG's Energy practice helps companies navigate an increasingly complex business climate, covering the Oil & Gas and Power & Utilities sectors.

We have deep knowledge in Energy transition and Sustainability, Energy Trading and Risk Management, and Energy Engineering and Services.

Our projects typically apply BCG's core consulting skills in functional areas such as digitalization, strategy, organization, or performance improvement, but in the distinctive environment of Energy.

What You'll Do

As a senior expert consultant for Energy Practice, you will work alongside our consulting teams and play a pivotal role in advising clients on executive-level Large Capital Project management, strategy, and implementation.

You will lead and advise diverse and high-performing project teams, enabling them to find the right approach, motivate them to deliver on time, and achieve long-term impact for our clients.

You will also drive and orchestrate the majority of the project-related client interactions, ensuring a constructive collaboration with our clients.

As well as building networks and thought leadership on Large Capital Project management.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an expert consultant with 6+ years of experience in leading and managing large capital projects for the energy industry, particularly within oil & gas companies or service providers for oil & gas industry.

You should have expert knowledge on large capital project implementation from concept to implementation, domain knowledge of large capital projects in engineering, procurement & supply chain, construction, commissioning, and contract management.

Experience in managing teams, devising and implementing business strategies involving quantitative analysis, conceptualization, and communication of strategic solutions is also essential.

You should have superior problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment.

Exceptional drive and commitment to striving for excellence, highly self-driven, well-structured yet flexible, able to think strategically/end-to-end, and a high level of agility, eager to develop new skills and areas of expertise.

High level of adaptability to a frequently changing professional and social working environment, willingness to travel according to business needs, excellent academic track record, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian.
