About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Group Supervisor to join our Maintenance department at Tenaris. As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for developing and supervising the execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan, ensuring systematic failure, problem, and performance analysis on equipment, and defining corrective actions and generating improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize reliability and maintainability of equipment by defining maintenance strategies, developing and supervising the execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan, and ensuring systematic failure, problem, and performance analysis on equipment.
  • Perform and oversee inspections in your area of responsibility.
  • Guarantee technical resource availability and ensure a suitable minimum stock.
  • Support the Engineering area in the research and assessment of the best equipment available and the startup of new pieces of equipment.
  • Draw up the maintenance cost budget and keep costs within agreed limits.
  • Ensure the application of health, safety, and environment standards and practices.
  • Participate in the development of maintenance information systems and support actions as required.
  • Participate in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize the use of required energy.
  • Analyze, interpret, and recommend courses of action for more complex topics.
  • Interact with internal and/or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with, and develop your staff and manage HR-related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is appreciated, preferably with previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
  • English Language proficiency: intermediate level [at least B2 level in Global Scale of English (GSE)].
  • Previous experience in Maintenance is appreciated.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as per the requirement of the mill.
  • Safety and Quality oriented, with strong follow-up and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with hourly employees and Management.
