Job Overview
NTT DATA, a leading IT services company, is seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to join our Smart Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the production of work products requested by Functional Safety standards, including impact analysis, safety plans, and safety cases.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of safety-critical systems and software
- Perform hazard analysis and risk assessment to identify potential safety risks
- Develop and maintain safety plans and safety cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Functional Safety standards
- Support the definition and improvement of internal processes related to Functional Safety
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge and application of ISO 26262 standard for at least one part (2, 3, 4, 5, or 6)
- Experience in Model-Based SW design and knowledge of code auto-generation techniques
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR standard SW architecture (Classic and/or Adaptive)
- Strong propensity to innovation and teamwork
- High precision and attention to details
- Fluent English both spoken and written
Preferred Skills
- Experience in execution of Safety Analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA, etc.)
- Knowledge of Requirements Management tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion)
- Knowledge of Vector tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANoe, PREEvision)
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE or equivalent quality standards
- Knowledge of ADAS systems and related GSR regulations
