Algorithm Engineer

We are in search of a skilled Algorithm Engineer eager to engage with various teams to tackle complex challenges within the PCB industry.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will join the R&D Algorithm & Software team and will be tasked with:
creating algorithms to enhance the precision, speed, and reliability of our tools for customers; developing and sustaining self-calibration procedures for the tools; documenting the code produced for inclusion in software release notes and to guide users on new functionalities.Reporting Structure
The candidate will be integrated into the R&D Algorithm & Software team and will operate under the guidance of the technical lead. For administrative purposes, the candidate will report directly to the R&D Manager.
Required Qualifications
The ideal applicant:
holds a Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Physics, Mathematics); possesses proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python; has a solid understanding of statistics, modeling, and data analysis; is proficient in English (minimum B2 level); exhibits curiosity and a desire to learn; brings innovative ideas and is willing to experiment, even if it leads to failure; demonstrates patience, as R&D often requires multiple iterations to achieve optimal solutions; provides diverse perspectives to the technical lead; enjoys teamwork and collaboration within the R&D department; aspires to work in an international setting with demanding clientele.Minimum Experience
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with no prior experience; or equivalent professional experience.
