About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Senior Developer to join our team at Schindler Group. As a Power Platform Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining detailed technical documentation and creating release notes for new features
  • Developing Apps using Power Platform and offering support for the entire Application Lifecycle
  • Applying Power Apps, including an in-depth understanding of customization, configuration, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints
  • Assisting in collecting and identifying functional requirements
  • Working on challenging technical tasks, as part of the team, to further build up and improve knowledge sharing
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise
  • Designing end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing
  • Assisting in migrating, converting, and improving existing solutions from older versions of SharePoint and .NET applications to Power Platform and SharePoint Online platform
  • Providing expertise and support to business managers and other members of IT to determine how to best implement, support, and use Microsoft Power Platform
  • Determining when Microsoft Power Platform is not the right solution for a business problem and communicating this effectively to business leaders

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Power Platform Senior Developer who is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions. You will have:

  • A Master or Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems
  • Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Strong .Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Strong experience of development with Microsoft collaboration stack including Power Platform, Office 365, Azure AD Connect, and SharePoint Online
  • Prior experience with SOA/web services design and programming; experience with SharePoint 2016, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript
  • Experience with API and REST services integrations
  • Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance
  • Proficient creating PowerShell scripts
  • Prior consulting or professional services experience is a bonus
  • Ability to explain complex information in a simple manner
  • Designing end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing
  • Strong analytical capabilities; proactive work ethic
  • Very high customer orientation, self-confident appearance with customers
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
