Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement control measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs to educate employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety conditions and provide guidance to employees.
  • Update and maintain safety records and reports to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex safety issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to ensuring the health and safety of all employees and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Experience with safety management software and systems, such as Gensuite.
  • Fluency in English and Italian, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders.
