As a key member of the Battery Design team, the Programme Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery. This includes ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned, and that the programme is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, incorporating key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to programme teams, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and implement governance processes to ensure that programmes are delivered in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
Programme Delivery:
- Work with programme teams to develop and implement project management plans, ensuring that programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and report on programme progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action as necessary.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including programme sponsors, team members, and external partners.
- Communicate effectively with programme teams, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
