Job Title: Programme Manager

Description:

As a Programme Manager at Battery Design, you will play a crucial role in managing and facilitating the introduction of new programmes from concept to commercialization. Your primary objective will be to support the strategic goals of the company by overseeing all aspects of the program process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set and maintain programme timelines
* Manage delivery of all functions to meet the program budget and business requirements
* Meet sales and commercial requirements
* Meet production requirements
* Coordinate internal and external stakeholders
* Manage regular programme meetings and Gate review meetings
* Produce weekly progress reports
* Report to and assist the Programme Director

Requirements:

* Partner with cross-functional management teams to ensure objectives are achieved
* Produce detailed weekly metric reports for the Senior Leadership team
* Ensure customer specifications are managed in line with budget expectations
* Coordinate solutions to both technical and commercial challenges
* Manage programmes in line with company objectives
* Ensure process change control procedures are adhered to and communicated
* Assist various departments in pre-customer sign-off and acceptance
* Conduct post-review of programme for improvement points and closed-loop feedback
* Manage daily running of the programme with each functional Project Manager
* Complete annual appraisals and ensure these are reviewed and set to company objectives
* Manage daily meetings and ensure transparent communication is encouraged throughout the projects

Qualifications:

* HND or equivalent in Engineering (or Business)
* Level 4 Diploma in Manufacturing / Engineering / Business
* Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Programme Manager
* Demonstrable experience in Business Plan development
* Proven experience in resource planning
* Quantifiable experience in budget preparation and control
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Proficiency in preparing timelines, managing, and reporting on projects utilizing MS Project / Excel
* Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy
* 1 year's experience in presenting and communicating detailed verbal and written information to audiences of varied backgrounds
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
* Strong Commercial awareness
* 3 years' experience of end-to-end project management
* A flexible approach to working the necessary hours to ensure completion of tasks
* Willingness to travel globally to meet the needs of the role
